Dr. Mohammed Ali Kotal

Dr. Mohammed Ali Kotal has extensive experience in medical safety and pharmacovigilance. Dr. Mohammed Ali currently serves as the Head Medical Safety at Sandoz, overseeing the safety of around 1400 established and development products. Prior to this, they worked at Novartis as the Medical Safety Generics Team Lead and Manager Safety Risk Management, responsible for the safety of over 1400 generic products. Dr. Kotal also has experience at Cognizant, where they served as a Team Manager for Medical Review/Pharmacovigilance and held positions as an Interim Manager and Lead Medical Reviewer. Dr. Mohammed Ali started their career as a General Physician and later worked as a Surgery Registrar at BD Petit Parsee General Hospital.

Dr. Mohammed Ali Kotal's education history includes a variety of degrees and certifications. Dr. Mohammed Ali completed an online certificate program in Cancer Genomics and Precision Oncology at Harvard Medical School in 2022. Dr. Mohammed Ali also holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Pharmacology from Smt Kashibai Navle Medical College and General Hospital, completed between 2012 and 2015. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in Medicine from K.J Somaiya Medical College, which they attended from 2002 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their HSC degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General at K.C College from 1999 to 2002.
