Duncan Scholtz

Duncan Scholtz currently serves as the Head of External Supply Operations at Sandoz, leading a global team of over 350 associates and managing more than $2 billion in costs of goods sold produced by numerous external partners. Previously, Duncan held multiple senior leadership positions at Alcon, including VP and General Manager of manufacturing and R&D operations, where oversight included managing a multimillion-dollar budget and a team of 200 associates, and leading a financial and supply hub for over 150 countries. Duncan's experience also includes roles at Novartis, where responsibilities encompassed P&L management for the eye care division and global procurement strategies, and at CIBA Vision, focusing on commercial negotiations and supply chain management. Duncan earned a Master of Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
