Ivan Garcia Jimenez has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Ivan started their career at everis as a Senior Consultant from 2005 to 2011. Later, they joined Takeda Pharmaceuticals in 2011 and held various roles, including Regional System Manager for Southern Europe and Area Systems Manager for Southern Europe. From 2015 to 2017, Ivan served as the Commercial IT Service Integration Lead for EMEAR, where they were responsible for demand, change management, and dev ops within the organization. Ivan then became the Customer Excellence Business Partner for Omnichannel in EU & Canada, leading the regional Omnichannel Ecosystem roadmap and setting up and leading local business partners teams. In 2019, they became the Head of Commercial IT & Digital for Iberia, where they played a key role in the company's strategic direction, overseeing various business and functional initiatives. Currently, Ivan is the Global Lead Customer Engagement Data & Insights at Sandoz.

Ivan Garcia Jimenez holds a degree in Informatics Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. In addition, they have completed The Strategic Digital Pharma Marketing Course at CELforPharma in 2018. Ivan also obtained a Grado in Piano from the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid, where they studied from 1985 to 1996. Ivan has also obtained a certification in Advance Negotiation Skills from Soctwork in 2020.
