Matthias J. Weber

Matthias J. Weber is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as CFO of Sandoz Germany and Vorstand Finanzen at Hexal Group since February 2007, Matthias oversees finance operations for multiple legal entities generating a $1.3 billion turnover. Additionally, Matthias holds chairman positions at Salutas Pharma GmbH and Lek dd Slovenia, as well as a board member role at Rowex Ltd Ireland. Previous experience includes leading business planning for Novartis' Ophthalmics BU in Europe and various CFO positions across Europe at Novartis Animal Health, where notable contributions included market turnarounds and M&A integration. Educational credentials include an MBA from Henley Business School, a FEP from London Business School, and ongoing studies at INSEAD, alongside a Dipl KfM from Universität Saarbrücken.
