Rebecca Guntern

Rebecca Guntern currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer at Sandoz, with a career spanning various leadership roles within the company since September 2007, including Head of Europe and Country Head for both Spain and Switzerland. In addition to their position at Sandoz, Guntern has been Vice President at Medicines for Europe since June 2019 and holds a board membership at BKW AG since May 2018. Previous board positions include Société Suisse des Explosifs and Advance – Gender Equality in Business. Earlier in their career, Guntern worked at Merck Sharp & Dohme as National Sales Manager and at Roche as a Sales Representative and Clinical Research Monitor. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor and Master in Pharmacy from the University of Bern and University of Basel, respectively, as well as a Bachelor in Business from the Graduate School of Business Administration Zurich and further studies at the University of St.Gallen.
