Ziga Perko

Ziga Perko has diverse work experience in various companies and roles.

Ziga started their career in 2013 as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Department of Chemistry, University of Oxford, where they worked until 2013. After that, they joined The Student Consultancy Oxford as a Student Consultant from April 2014 to June 2014.

In 2014, Ziga Perko also served as an Executive Committee Member - Events Officer at Bacchus - Oxford University Wine Society, where they focused on promoting the discovery and enjoyment of wine through various activities. Ziga was also an Undergraduate Researcher at Bacchus, working on projects related to chemistry.

Their career then took him to Novartis in August 2015, where they participated in The Novartis International Biotechnology Leadership Camp for a month.

From 2015 to 2017, Ziga Perko worked as a Management Consultant at A.T. Kearney, gaining experience in the consulting industry.

In 2017, they joined Sandoz as a PMO Manager until February 2019. Ziga then took on the role of Head of Continuous Performance Improvement from March 2019 to December 2021. After that, they became a Product Development Digital Lead from January 2022 to April 2023. Currently, Ziga Perko holds the position of Global Head, Development Centers Solutions at Sandoz.

Overall, Ziga Perko has a strong background in project management, consulting, research, and leadership roles in the pharmaceutical and consulting industries.

Ziga Perko completed their International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at II. gimnazija Maribor from 2007 to 2011. Ziga then pursued their Master of Chemistry (MChem) degree at the University of Oxford from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, they also studied Building a Business at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford from 2013 to 2014, focusing on entrepreneurship.
