Maher Qabasi

Maher Qabasi serves as the Head of the American Program at Sands National Academy since August 2024, demonstrating expertise in supervisory management. Prior to this role, Maher held the position of Head of the Educational Department at Al-Ridwan Schools from October 2022 to June 2023 and was the Head of Orbit International Schools from August 2019 to October 2022, both emphasizing strong management capabilities. Earlier experience includes serving as Vice Principal at A.B.S/American School from August 2015 to August 2018, where responsibilities encompassed planning orientations for new teachers, creating timetables, and managing academic performance. As Acting Deputy Primary Principal at GEMS Education from August 2013 to August 2015, Maher focused on developing processes for modern educational environments and improving enrollment. Academic qualifications include a TET in ESL from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Yarmouk University.
