Michael Tanner is currently the Managing Director at Sandstone Group since June 2019. Prior to this, he held the position of Director - A&D / FP&A at King Operating Corporation from August 2022 to February 2024. Before that, he worked at RARE PETRO from June 2015 to June 2019, starting as a Research Intern and moving up to Lead Research Analyst in A&D and Staff Research Analyst in Reservoir Engineering. Michael obtained his Master of Science in Mineral and Energy Economics and Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering and Economics from the Colorado School of Mines between 2012 and 2022.
