Jesse Fleri

Jesse Fleri is a data scientist and machine learning engineer currently working at Sandtable. With over a decade of experience in conservation research across various sectors, Jesse specializes in geospatial and Bayesian statistics. As the founder of the Global Vegetation Project, Jesse created a platform for exploring global vegetation data, contributing to ecological research. Jesse holds an M.Sc. in Forestry from the University of British Columbia and a B.S. in Conservation and Restoration Ecology from Utah State University, along with numerous peer-reviewed publications in areas such as conservation ecology and global change biology. Proficient in R, Python, SQL, and ArcGIS, Jesse is dedicated to leveraging data science to address environmental and social challenges.
