Elizabeth Silkwood is an experienced drama teacher at Sandusky City Schools since October 2020, where responsibilities include fostering an environment of trust, open communication, and mentoring art students. Prior to this, Elizabeth served as a lead teacher at KinderCare Education, adapting the Early Learning Foundations curriculum to meet diverse needs of preschool students. Elizabeth's background also includes roles as a campus tour guide at Cleveland State University, where engaging presentations were given to prospective students, and as a theatre camp counselor at French Creek Theatre, focusing on student growth through creative activities. Elizabeth began a journey in the arts as an assistant director for Sandusky State Theater Inc., contributing to children’s theatre camps. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Theatre/Theater and English Literature from Cleveland State University, obtained between 2013 and 2018.
