Kiera Ford, M. Ed., M. EdL, is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in various teaching and leadership roles. Currently serving as an educator at Sandusky City Schools since August 2022, Kiera previously taught English at Grand Prairie ISD, where responsibilities included developing engaging lessons and implementing culturally relevant pedagogy, achieving a high student passing percentage on assessments. Kiera has also worked as a Professional Learning Coach for Teach For America, focusing on teacher development in cultural and racial literacy, and held roles such as Instructional Lead Teacher at W H Atwell Middle School and Law Academy and English Teacher at Lancaster ISD and H. Grady Spruce High School. Kiera holds a Master's of Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas, a Master of Education from Southern Methodist University, and a Bachelor's degree in African-American/Black Studies, Creative Writing, and Sociology from Miami University.
