Abhijit Hadap

Abhijit Hadap is a seasoned professional in the manufacturing and operations sector, currently serving as the President & Head of Rock Tools India at Sandvik since February 2021, overseeing the P&L of operations in Pune and Hyderabad. Prior to this role, Abhijit was the Vice President of Inserts operations at Sandvik Coromant from January 2018 to February 2021, managing a Standard Inserts manufacturing unit and its associated functions. Abhijit also held the position of Head Plant Engineering and Infrastructure Services at Sandvik Asia Pvt Ltd from November 2012 to December 2017, responsible for multiple production units in Pune. Previous experience includes roles as Sr Manager Maintenance at Carraro Group and Manufacturing Engineering Manager at General Motors, focusing on maintenance and operational improvements. Abhijit holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai and a degree in Financial Management from NIBMEMBA.
