Imraan Amod

Imraan Amod currently serves as the General Manager for Southern Africa at Sandvik, where notable achievements include a 44% growth in the Aftermarket business post-COVID in 2021. Previous experience includes roles as General Manager of Operations at Komatsu Mining Corp., managing strategic business operations across nine units with 400 personnel, as well as various managerial positions at Barloworld Power, where an assembly facility for Caterpillar Generator sets was established, and at Transnet Engineering, where Amod transformed a low-performing business into a World Class Manufacturing (WCM) entity. Imraan holds an MBA from Monash South Africa, a BBA from Durban University of Technology, a Project Management Diploma from Durban University of Technology, and a Higher National Engineering Diploma from Durban Fet College.
