Majid Jafari Bahramabadi

Majid Jafari Bahramabadi is a Senior R&D Professional at Sandvik since January 2022, with prior experience as an R&D Engineer. Between 2019 and 2021, Majid worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Linköping University, collaborating with the R&D group at Seco Tools AB on PVD/CVD hard coatings for cutting tools. From December 2016 to December 2018, Majid served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Pohang University of Science and Technology, focusing on steel product development in collaboration with ExxonMobil Corporation. Additionally, Majid was a Researcher at Isfahan University of Technology from September 2014 to September 2016, where an R&D project on enhancing the tribological properties of 316L stainless steel was initiated and led. Majid's education includes a PhD, Master's, and Bachelor's degrees in Materials Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology, completed between 2002 and 2014.
