Ryan Janse van Rensburg

Ryan Janse van Rensburg currently serves as the Global Business Development Manager for Africa & EMEA at Sandvik since February 2024, and as the Vice President for Africa at Newtrax Sandvik since September 2021. With extensive experience in the mining industry, Ryan has previously held the position of Business Unit Manager for new business models at Schauenburg Systems and served as a Project Manager at Komatsu Mining, focusing on enhancing mining operations through innovative technologies. Ryan's career began at Joy Global Inc. as a Field Service Supervisor and later in production analysis at astrapak. Education includes an Engineer's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Unisa, a Degree in Business Administration from Damelin, and an Associate's Degree as a Millwright from SAJ.
