John D. Sadowski

John Sadowski is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Sandy Spring Bank since March 2009. In this role, John leads seven teams, overseeing a workforce of approximately 140 staff across various operational areas, including digital banking and information security. Sadowski is also an Advisory Board Member for the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking, contributing to the development of future leaders in the financial services sector. Prior experience includes roles at Wells Fargo Bank and T. Rowe Price, where John demonstrated leadership and innovation in client services and investment support. Sadowski holds an MBA from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, a Stonier Diploma and Wharton Leadership Certificate from the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking, and a BBA in Management Information Systems from Loyola University Maryland.
