Sandy Springs Police
Brad Begue is currently working with Sandy Springs Police as Special Operations since September 2017. Brad is also serving in the US Air Force Reserve as a Staff Sergeant in Avionics since June 2016. Previously, Brad has worked at MiLEND, Inc as a Sr. Mortgage Consultant and at Quicken Loans as a Mortgage Loan Originator. Brad is a licensed MLO in multiple states and currently works as a Power Banker at Quicken Loans. Additionally, Brad owned and operated Begue Fitness from January 2012 to December 2014, offering custom workout design and implementation as an ISSA certified personal trainer. Currently, Brad is pursuing their education at Kennesaw State University.
Sandy Springs Police
The Sandy Springs Police Department (SSPD) was created in 2006 and serves the community with 148 sworn officers. Sandy Springs Police Department Operations are coordinated by two districts: North and South. The districts are commanded by the patrol Captain who is supported by Lieutenants. The patrol division is complemented by specialty units including Street Crimes Unit (SCU), Traffic Unit, Special Investigations Unit (SIU), and the Criminal Investigations Division (CID). The SSPD has several specialty vehicles and equipment including the river response boat, Rhino ATV units, river kayaks, and an armored vehicle for tactical response.
