Currently working as a Fulton County Deputy Sheriff POST de FACTO, Michael previously served as a Master Police Officer and Field Training Officer at DeKalb County Police Department. Michael also worked as a Patrol Officer II at the City of Kennesaw and currently serves as a Task Force Officer and Detective at Sandy Springs Police. Sandy Springs Police

The Sandy Springs Police Department (SSPD) was created in 2006 and serves the community with 148 sworn officers. Sandy Springs Police Department Operations are coordinated by two districts: North and South. The districts are commanded by the patrol Captain who is supported by Lieutenants. The patrol division is complemented by specialty units including Street Crimes Unit (SCU), Traffic Unit, Special Investigations Unit (SIU), and the Criminal Investigations Division (CID). The SSPD has several specialty vehicles and equipment including the river response boat, Rhino ATV units, river kayaks, and an armored vehicle for tactical response.
