Heather Blackwell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education and social services. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor in Sociology at Sanford Brown Institute since June 2013 and as a Class Instructor at Lemington Community Services Center, Heather focuses on teaching essential computer skills to adult seniors. Previous roles include Behavioral Services Consultant at Independence Professionals, Inc., where support services for individuals with intellectual disabilities were provided, and Supervised Independent Living Supervisor at Ward Home, Inc. Additionally, Heather held positions in program management and supervision at Touching Families, Inc. and Children's Home Society of California, overseeing complex case management duties and ensuring quality service delivery. Educational achievements include a Master’s degree in Sociology from California State University - Dominguez Hills, a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communication from Point Park University, and an Associate Degree in Business Management from Sawyer Business School.
