David W. Down

David W. Down is a Trustee at Sanford Burnham Prebys. David was previously a Postdoctoral Scholar at UCLA from September 2010 to November 2011, where they were involved in therapeutics development, anti-aging mechanism investigation, and biomarker identification. From January 2009 to September 2010, they were a Postdoctoral Scholar at UCLA Medical Center, where they established pre-clinical models for diabetes and discovered novel therapeutics for Parkinson's disease.

David W. Down received their Ph.D. in pharmacology from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. David also holds a B.S. in life science from Fudan University and a degree from Nanjing Foreign Languages School.
