Scott LaFee

Scott LaFee currently serves as the Vice President of Communications at Sanford Burnham Prebys, a non-profit medical research institute focused on various areas of health research. Prior to this role, LaFee held multiple positions at UC San Diego, including Director of Communications and Media Relations for UC San Diego Health and the broader UC San Diego Health Sciences. With a career in journalism that started at The San Diego Union-Tribune as a science writer, LaFee has extensive experience in communications within the healthcare and research sectors. LaFee earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from California State University, Fresno.
