Josh Evans

Josh Evans, PhD DABR, currently serves as a Senior Medical Physicist at Sanford Health since August 2022. Prior to this role, Josh Evans held the position of Director of Radiation Oncology Physics at Sentara Healthcare from April 2022 to June 2022 and was the Chief Physicist of Radiation Oncology at Henrico, Parham & Retreat Doctors' Hospitals from May 2021 to April 2022. From July 2012 to April 2021, Josh Evans worked as an Assistant Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University, where the focus was on clinical medical physics. The earlier stage of Josh Evans's career included a residency in Radiation Oncology Physics at the University of Virginia Health System from July 2011 to July 2012. Josh Evans earned a Ph.D. in Medical Physics from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine between 2006 and 2011 and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from William & Mary from 2002 to 2006.
