Renee Axtman

Renee Axtman is a highly experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in nursing and operations management. Currently serving as the Chief Nursing Officer and Executive Director of Operations at Sanford Health since May 2018, Axtman's previous roles include Director of Emergency Services and VP of Nursing & Clinical Services. Prior to joining Sanford Health, Axtman was the Administrative Director for Primary Care at Altru Health System from July 1997 to July 2017. Axtman holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Dakota (1979-1983) and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Mary (2018-2019).
