Craig Ellison

Craig Ellison has extensive experience in various leadership roles. Craig is currently serving as the Acting Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director at Sanford Limited since August 2023. Craig is also a Director at the same company since December 2022. In addition, they have held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Ngai Tahu Holdings from December 2021 to March 2023. Previously, they served as the Executive Chair at Seafood New Zealand from 2017 to 2021. Furthermore, they have been actively involved in the business community as the Chair at Wellington Zoo from 2015 to 2024 and HaloAgTech from February 2023 to September 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Chair at Poutama Trust from 2012 to 2020 and worked as a Consultant at Ngai Tahu Seafoods from 2015 to 2019.

Craig Ellison attended the University of Otago from 1975 to 1981, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Zoology.
