David Taylor

David Taylor is a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer currently employed at Sanford Underground Research Facility since 2010, where responsibilities include coordinating operations for the deployment of the largest liquid Xenon 2-phase dark matter detector and developing next-generation designs for similar detectors. Prior to this role, David Taylor served as a Senior Project Engineer and Technical Leader at GE Energy from 2005 to 2010, overseeing a team of 11 combustion engineers focused on enhancing the performance and longevity of gas turbine components. David Taylor holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from Lehigh University.
