Jason Connot

Jason Connot is an accomplished Underground Operations Engineer at Sanford Underground Research Facility since April 2019, building upon a diverse background in mining and production management. Previously, Jason held several positions at Unimin Corporation, including Continuous Improvement Manager and Production Supervisor, and served as a Production Management Engineer at Cargill. Early career experiences include internships at Newgold as a Process Engineering Intern and at The Mosaic Company as a Mining Engineer Summer Intern. Jason holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering and Engineering Management from South Dakota Mines and has obtained certifications in Auctioneering from World Wide College of Auctioneering and Lean Six Sigma from the University of Houston.
