Leonardo Lang has a diverse work experience in software development and engineering. Leonardo started their career as a Trainee in software development at LabUFSC, where they developed synchronization and authentication software for mixed computer networks. Leonardo then worked as a Software Consultant at Centro GeNESS before joining KHOMP as a Senior Systems Analyst. At KHOMP, they were responsible for Asterisk and FreeSWITCH driver development, embedded Linux development, and integration of telephony stacks. Leonardo later joined Sangoma as a Senior Software Designer and contributed to embedded VoIP gateway development, Session Border Controller development, and cloud-based systems development. In their most recent role at Sangoma, they served as the Director of Software Research & Development and led projects focused on new technologies and products. Leonardo's major accomplishments include designing and implementing monitoring and provisioning improvements for IoT devices, developing an embedded software DSP, and improving build systems.
Leonardo Lang graduated from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina in 2006 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Leonardo then pursued a Master's degree in the same field at the same university from 2008 to 2010, but did not complete the program.
