Sophie Guillaume

Sophie Guillaume has extensive experience in the field of clinical research and operations. Sophie is currently serving as the Senior Director of Clinical Operations at Saniona since October 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Clinical Research at Glaukos Corporation from September 2019 to October 2020. Sophie also worked as the Director of Clinical Research at Avanir Pharmaceuticals from March 2015 to September 2019. Before that, they served as the Director of Clinical Operations at FORUM Pharmaceuticals from January 2013 to March 2015. Sophie's early career includes multiple roles at Pfizer NY, such as Assistant Director of Clinical Operations, Interim Assignment as Country Operations Manager, Senior Study Manager, and CRA/Monitor UK. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated leadership, attention to detail, and effective project management skills. Sophie has managed the execution of large multi-country projects, ensured quality deliverables within budget and timelines, and provided global leadership in clinical trial operations. Sophie has expertise in various therapeutic areas including anti-infectives, pain, COPD, urology, and sexual health.

Sophie Guillaume holds a Master of Science degree in Pharmacology from the Université de Rennes I. Sophie also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology & Molecular Pharmacology from the Université de Poitiers, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from IUT de Vannes.
