Subrahmanyam Desaraju

Subrahmanyam Desaraju is the current Head of Purchasing & Inventory at Sanipex Group. Prior to this, they served as General Manager - Marketing at Inca Hammock Mfg and Export Pvt Ltd from April 2012 to May 2014, where they were responsible for handling key export and domestic customers, showcasing the company and its products at overseas exhibitions and events, increasing the portfolio of customers, maximizing visibility of the company and its products through various media, costing of products and ownership of customer quotations, sourcing of key components and development of new products, conceptualizing and developing e-commerce business through unique website, and assisting the Managing Director as key aide in shaping business strategy and vision. From May 2009 to March 2012, they served as Deputy General Manager - Operations at Inca Hammock Mfg and Export Pvt Ltd, where they assisted the Managing Director in day-to-day management of the company, production of hammocks and related garden furniture, sourcing of raw materials both foreign and domestic and inventory control, purchase administration and cost control, attended major overseas exhibitions and product review and selection meetings, and handled key customer accounts including Canadian Tire Corporation, OBI, Leroy Merlin and La Siesta.

Subrahmanyam Desaraju is a commerce and accounting graduate from Vivekananda College, Madras University. Subrahmanyam has also done their higher secondary in accounting, commerce, economics and statistics from Vana Vani Matriculation Higher Secondary School.
