David Abel

David Abel has extensive work experience in finance and business services. David started their career in 1994 as a Bookkeeper & Assistant Accountant at Independent Fuel Supplies. David then worked at BBC HARDWARE LIMITED in various roles, including Assistant Financial Accountant and Group Management Accountant. In 2002, they joined Diageo as a SAP Project Accountant before moving to Boots International as a Management Accountant - Decision Support for a short period in 2003. Since 2003, David has been working at Sanitarium, where they held various roles such as Management Accountant - Sales, NZ Commercial Manager, and Strategic Transactions & Project Manager. David was then promoted to Commercial Projects Manager and Head of Business Advisory before becoming the Head of Finance and Business Services.

David Abel earned a Bachelor of Business degree with a focus on Accounting & Computing from Avondale College of Higher Education. David attended the college from 1990 to 1993.
