Gerardo also worked as an HR Director at OPESLA, where they managed a team of HR consultants and led business development efforts. Prior to that, Gerardo served as the Compensation & Benefits HR Director for Avon, overseeing compensation strategies in multiple countries. Gerardo started their career at ExxonMobil, where they designed salary administration systems and led the HR functional agenda for oil & gas operations. Finally, Gerardo worked at Shell as an HR Policy and Remuneration/Benefit Manager, overseeing policy development and compensation services for multiple countries in the Americas region.
Gerardo Henriquez has a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Psychology from Universidad Rafael Urdaneta. Gerardo later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Marketing at IESA, which they completed between 2005 and 2008. In 2006, they also obtained a Specialist degree in Organizational Development Management from Universidad Simón Bolívar. Additionally, in 2008, they participated in the Enterprise Leadership Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, specializing in Business Administration and Management.
