Caroline Towbin has a diverse professional background, including roles in marketing, communications, project management, research consulting, and non-profit operations. With a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Middlebury College and additional education in business and finance, Caroline has proven expertise in both creative and analytical fields. Caroline is currently serving as the Director of Development and Communications at the Sanitation Foundation, where Caroline supports the essential Sanitation workforce and advances the Department's zero-waste agenda. Prior to this role, Caroline held positions at adMarketplace, Sacred Heart, Locus Analytics, and various educational institutions, showcasing their strong skills in strategy, analysis, and project coordination.

The Sanitation Foundation is the official non-profit partner of NYC Sanitation (DSNY). We are on a mission to help make NYC a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable city for all New Yorkers. The Foundation celebrates the hard work of DSNY and champions its essential workforce. We focus on crafting and executing meaningful and impactful programs that support the goals of DSNY. We are supported by private funding, grants, corporate partnerships, and in-kind donations.
