Previously, Gopalan held the position of BD Manager at Sanjay Maintenance Services Pvt Ltd from June 2005 to June 2017. Gopalan's educational background includes a degree in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition in Mumbai, as well as completing schooling at Swami Vivekanand High School.
