Elizabeth Hwang is a dynamic professional currently serving as a Digital Specialist at Sanky Communications, Inc., where innovative fundraising and marketing campaigns are created for nonprofit organizations. Since June 2022, Elizabeth has contributed as a Research Assistant for the Black Washtenaw Collaboratory, focusing on the history of racial desegregation and discrimination in Ann Arbor's education and housing systems. In September 2022, Elizabeth co-founded .CARE to provide holistic period care kits to underserved communities in southeast Michigan. Elizabeth's experience also includes work with the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center, United Asian American Organizations, and the University of Michigan, where various roles involved research, policy analysis, and community engagement. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Law degree at the University of California, Irvine, Elizabeth previously earned a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Michigan.
