Francelle Agenbag has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Francelle started their career at Standard Bank in 2003 as a Market Risk Manager and later became a Credit Derivative Trader. In 2007, they joined Sanlam where they held various roles including Corporate Credit Analyst, Corporate Credit Risk Manager, and Debt Structurer. Their responsibilities at Sanlam involved debt origination, investment analysis, and project finance. In 2018, they joined Sanlam Investments as the Head of Structured Retail Products where they currently work.

Francelle Agenbag's education history begins in 1992 when they attended Bloemhof Girls High School for their high school education. Francelle completed their studies there in 1996. Following this, from 1997 to 2002, they attended Stellenbosch University, where they pursued a degree in Economics and Risk Management, ultimately earning an Honours degree. Lastly, they furthered their education at the CFA Institute, where they obtained a Chartered Financial Analyst qualification in 2008.
