Gideon Nell

Gideon Nell is an experienced professional in the investment industry, currently serving as the Head of Sales for EMEA & Financial Institution Groups at Sanlam Investments since 2014. Prior to this role, Gideon was a Partner at Armstrong Investment Managers LLP from 2009 to 2014 and held the position of Sales Director for Europe and Offshore Centres at Insight Investment (BNY Mellon) from 2003 to 2009. Earlier in his career, Gideon worked as a Portfolio Manager for Private Clients at Appleton from 1998 to 2001 and served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the South African National Defence Force from 1992 to 1993. Gideon holds a degree in Marketing & Management from IMM Graduate School and an IMC in Investment Management from BPP University, along with professional qualifications from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI).
