Eric Kanyi

Eric Kanyi, ACII, currently serves as the Manager for the Mt. Kenya Region at Sanlam since October 2016, focusing on strategy execution, portfolio management, relationship management, renewal management, and customer service. Prior to this role, Eric held positions as a Senior Underwriter for Personal Lines, leading a team in underwriting activities and ensuring compliance with guidelines while managing business renewals and relationships. Eric's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Underwriter at UAP Insurance Kenya Ltd, where underwriting best practices were implemented, and as an Underwriter and Assistant Underwriter, evaluating risks and ensuring proper documentation. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Business Information Technology from Strathmore University, complemented by a professional designation from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
