Vanessa van Vuuren

Vanessa Van Vuuren has over 16 years of experience in the finance industry, currently serving as a Portfolio Manager and Equity Analyst at Sanlam Investment Management since March 2007. With responsibility for managing small and mid-cap institutional assets as well as the SIM Small Cap Unit Trust since 2012, Vanessa provides in-depth equity analysis, including research, valuation, and modeling for the SIM Equity Team. Prior experience includes roles as an Equity Analyst at Insinger de Beaufort - BNP Paribas Wealth Management and Oasis Asset Management. Vanessa holds a CFA Charterholder designation from the CFA Institute (2007-2009) and earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) Honours in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management, as well as a Bachelor of Business Science (Honours) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Cape Town.
