Hari Pillai

Hari Pillai has an extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Hari currently holds the position of President, Technology Components at Sanmina, a role they took on in 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Vice President at Bloom Energy from 2018 to 2021. Hari was the Chief Executive Officer, President, and Board Member at Contec Holdings from 2013 to 2019. From 2016 to 2017, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at Speed Commerce. Hari also has experience as an Operating Partner, CEO, Board Member, and Investor at Private Equity Firms from 2012 to 2013. Before this, they were the Private Investor, Promoter, Consultant, and Advisor for CEO/Promoter of Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPAC) Investment from 2011 to 2012.

Hari Pillai had a significant role in the growth of Sanmina-SCI, where they served as President & Chief Operating Officer from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they held various roles at Sanmina, including VP, SVP, EVP, and President of EMS Division from 1994 to 2008, where they led the company's entry into the EMS business and helped it become a respected tier 1 EMS company.

Before joining Sanmina, Hari Pillai worked at Solectron as the General Manager of the Systems Integration & Test Division from 1991 to 1994, where they successfully turned around a challenging division. Hari also gained valuable experience at Digital Equipment Corporation from 1983 to 1991, where they held various roles and developed their management and operational skills.

Hari Pillai's career began at the Dublin Institute of Technology, where they worked as a Lecturer for Operations Research and Marketing from 1982 to 1983, mentoring and guiding students while delivering undergraduate courses.

Hari Pillai earned a B.Sc. degree in Management from the University of Dublin, Trinity College from 1978 to 1982. Hari then pursued an M.B.S. degree in Marketing from the National University of Ireland, Dublin from 1982 to 1983. Additionally, they obtained a CPIM certification from APICS in 1984.
