Adrian McDermott is an experienced leader in vaccine immunology and product discovery. They have held prominent positions, including Director of Advanced Clinical Testing at the NIAID Vaccine Research Center and Global Head of Immunology at Sanofi, where they currently drive innovative strategies for vaccine development. Adrian earned a PhD in Immunogenetics from the University of London and has contributed extensively to immunobiology throughout their career, including leadership roles at the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative and the University of Wisconsin. Their academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology and an MSc in Virology from Liverpool John Moores University and UCL, respectively.
