Ann Baker

Ann Baker, PhD, DABT, is a board-certified toxicologist currently working as a Senior Principal Scientist in safety assessment at Sanofi. They serve as a preclinical safety project team representative, focusing on the progression of biotherapeutics and small molecule compounds for regulatory submissions, while leading the Developmental and Reproductive Toxicology (DART) advisory group. With a decade of prior experience as a DART Specialist and Study Director at Labcorp (Covance), Ann provided scientific, strategic, and regulatory expertise in nonclinical drug development. They held various research positions, including laboratory research in reproductive endocrinology and toxicology, gaining valuable skills in project management, communication, and teamwork. Ann earned a PhD in Endocrinology and Reproductive Physiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they also completed their MS and participated in coursework related to regulatory processes in drug development.
