Donal Bailey

Donal Bailey is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, currently serving as the Head of MSAT Drug Product Injectables at Sanofi since November 2020, overseeing Lyophilization Vial Filling and related processes. Prior to this role, Donal was the Head of the MSAT Drug Product Lyophilization Excellence Center and served as the FIT4 Future Booster Change Leader at Sanofi Waterford. With a career at Sanofi Genzyme spanning over a decade, Donal held various positions including Operations Manager for sterile operations and fill finish, Quality Assurance Manager, and Validation Manager. Donal began the career as a Commissioning Engineer at Pfizer. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Limerick.
