Edward Han-Burgess

Edward Han-Burgess, MS, MSc, MBA, CFA, currently serves as the Global Head of Portfolio Strategy & Corporate Development in Digital Healthcare at Sanofi since March 2021, having previously held the position of Head of Portfolio Management within the same sector. Prior experience includes leading Pharmaceuticals Data and Digital Health Innovation as Principal Consultant at E.Han-Burgess Consulting until November 2022, and developing a predictive and integrated AI platform at UCB from November 2015 to March 2020. Edward Han-Burgess also contributed to Upsher-Smith Laboratories, Inc. as Head of Intelligence, where strategic insights were delivered through the integration of competitive and market intelligence with digital health data. Earlier roles span investment analysis and equity research at Raymond James Financial, Dimensional Fund Advisors, and Lehman Brothers. Edward's educational background includes an MSc from the University of Oxford, an MBA from INSEAD, and additional degrees from New York University, Hasso Plattner Institute, UCLA, and the University of Miami.
