Lionel Bascles

Lionel Bascles is a seasoned professional in clinical sciences and operations, currently serving as the Senior VP and Global Head of Clinical Sciences & Operations at Sanofi since November 1998. With a focus on defining strategy and leading cross-functional clinical efforts, Lionel has held various leadership roles, including VP and Head of Clinical Operations, overseeing global operations and ensuring seamless project execution. Prior experience includes project management in clinical research across multiple therapeutic areas, and earlier roles at MDS Pharma Services and University Bordeaux II, where Lionel gained hands-on experience in clinical studies and neuroscientific research.
