Lise Kingo

Director at Sanofi

Lise Kingo has had a long and successful career in both the private and public sectors. Lise began their career in advertising, working their way up to become a promotion coordinator. In 1988, they transitioned to the pharmaceutical industry, joining Novo Nordisk as an executive vice president. Lise remained with the company for 26 years, before moving to the United Nations Global Compact in 2015. There, they served as CEO and Executive Director for five years. In 2020, they returned to the pharmaceutical industry, taking on the role of Director at Sanofi. Throughout their career, Kingo has demonstrated their dedication to their work and their ability to achieve results.

Lise Kingo holds a certificate of corporate governance from INSEAD, a master’s degree in responsibility and business practice from the University of Bath, and bachelor’s degrees in marketing economics from Copenhagen Business School, science of religions from Aarhus University, and ancient Greek culture from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark.
