Mark Czekaj

Mark Czekaj has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as a Senior Research Investigator at sanofi-aventis since 2001. In this role, Mark contributes to the oncology chemistry team, focusing on the design, synthesis, and purification of PIM kinase inhibitors that demonstrate tumor suppression in mouse xenograft tumor assays. Prior to this, Mark held positions at Rhone-Poulenc Rorer/Aventis from 1988 to 2001, where responsibilities included significant contributions to the intravenous antithrombotic program and the oral Beta-Tryptase program for asthma treatment. Mark's educational background includes an MS in Organic Chemistry from Villanova University, completed in 1988, and a Bachelor’s degree from the same institution, earned in 1986.
