Mike Bowman

Mike Bowman is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in immunology and drug development. Currently serving as a Director and Lab Head at Sanofi since April 2019, Bowman leads target identification and drug development projects within the Immune Checkpoint Research Group. Prior to this role, Bowman spent nearly two decades at Pfizer, where key contributions included leading therapeutic projects for immune checkpoint receptors and innate immunity, as well as overseeing drug target identification efforts for diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and asthma. Earlier career stages included roles at Wyeth Research, Genetics Institute, BASF Biosearch, and as a postdoctoral fellow at both Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School. Mike Bowman earned a PhD in Immunology from Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
