Ronald Neeleman has extensive experience in the field of biotechnology and vaccine production, currently serving as the Global Head of Influenza Manufacturing Science and Technologies at Sanofi since October 2011. Ronald has held various leadership positions within Sanofi, including Head of Manufacturing Technology for Vaccines in the US and Meriden, as well as Senior Director roles focused on Bacterial and Viral Technology, Vaccine Innovation, and Viral Expertise. Prior to Sanofi, Ronald worked as a Senior Consultant at Xendo Manufacturing, managing the development of biopharmaceuticals and vaccines. Ronald also owns a biotechnological software development company, Nephaso, and has previously led Influenza Product Development at Solvay Pharmaceuticals, transitioning production methods and enhancing pandemic preparedness. Ronald started the career as a Bio Process Engineer at the Netherlands Vaccine Institute, contributing to the development of multiple vaccines. Ronald holds an MSc and a Ph.D. in Biotechnology and Process Technology from Wageningen University & Research.
