Cees van Dam RC has extensive work experience in finance and business control. Cees is currently working as the Finance Director at Sanoma since June 2022. Before that, they worked as Van Dam Finance for a short period from March to May 2022. Prior to their current position, Cees was the Manager Business Control at DPG Media from April 2020 to December 2021, responsible for team Business Control DPG Nieuwsmedia which included brands like NU.nl, AD, Volkskrant, Trouw, Het Parool, Qmusic radio, and IndeBuurt.

From January 2015 to March 2020, they served as the Manager Planning & Control at Sanoma NL, responsible for Business & Financial Control of B2B Sales Sanoma Media Netherlands, as well as the News & Data business unit and e-commerce division.
