Jan Voorberg

Jan Voorberg is a Professor of Cellular Hemostasis at the University of Amsterdam since 2012, where they lead research on bleeding disorders and thrombosis aimed at patient benefit. With extensive experience at Sanquin, Jan previously held positions as Head of Cellular Hemostasis and Senior Scientist, contributing to the understanding of cell interactions within the hemostatic system. They earned their Master's degree in Molecular Sciences from Wageningen University & Research and completed a PhD in Internal Medicine at the University of Amsterdam. Jan also gained international experience through an internship program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
